The deep well holds no fear of night,
It knows the shape of every stone,
finds its way through earth and rock,
and makes the hidden depths its own.
Wells don’t become deep overnight; they are shaped over time, as water patiently returns again and again, finding its way around stones, through the earth, and gathering in the depths.
In recent weeks, we have been exploring how the Breath of Life expresses itself through the five elements, each with its own pace and rhythm.
As we begin to recognize these rhythms, something begins to find its course within us, and our own path becomes a little clearer. By coming into relationship with them, we often find ourselves carried by something larger than our own efforts.
This week, water invites us into another way of listening — one that trusts the wisdom of flow, depth, and what is moving beneath the surface.

If you can, spend time near water — whether it’s a stream, a lake, the ocean, a waterfall, or even rain against a window. Notice how effortlessly water finds its own course. Then, take a moment to reflect on how life might already be finding its own way within you.
Listen beneath the surface
Take a few moments to be quiet. Beneath the activity of the day, notice what becomes clearer as you listen. It might be a sensation, a feeling, an image, a thought, or even something you can’t quite put into words.
If you’d like to go a little deeper, notice the inner tide. When a feeling emerges, notice where you sense it in your body and become curious about its movement. Is it rising, gathering, settling, or receding? Follow its rhythm for a few moments and notice what changes.
What is flow inviting you to this week?
Love,
Candice
